Position Overview

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting the Store Manager in daily store operations. This includes maintaining inventories, store appearance, and completing daily paperwork.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• Greets and assists customers, resolving inquiries and concerns.
• Maintains a clean, well-stocked store and provides excellent customer service.
• Supervises, trains, and develops Store Associates under the Store Manager's guidance.
• Assists in unloading merchandise, organizing stock, and transferring stock from the stockroom to the sales floor.
• Supports ordering merchandise, record keeping, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Participates in loss prevention efforts.
• Assumes management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.

Position Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to interpret operational directives.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly, with occasional lifts up to 55 lbs, and perform physical activities such as walking, standing, stooping, and climbing.
• Flexible availability to work full-time, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Skills include customer focus, organizational skills, communication, problem-solving, and relationship management.
