Job summary

PET STATION in Sparks, NV is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations, drive sales, and deliver outstanding customer service while ensuring proper team development, inventory control, and adherence to company standards.

This role serves as acting Store Manager in the Manager's absence, overseeing scheduling, labor management, safety, merchandising, and overall store performance in a fast-paced retail environment—animal care included.

The Assistant Store Manager (ASM) supports the Store Manager in leading daily store operations, driving sales performance, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. This role assists with team development, inventory management, and operational execution while ensuring compliance with company standards. The ASM serves as acting Store Manager in their absence.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed. Frequent use of hands and arms.
