What You’ll Do

As an Assistant Store Manager, you’ll help lead day-to-day operations while driving team performance, customer experience, and overall store success.

You’ll work closely with the Store Manager and leadership team to create a high-performing, customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

• Help recruit, train, coach, and motivate store associates
• Build a positive, high-energy team culture
• Lead by example through strong communication and accountability

Customer Experience

• Deliver exceptional service for contractors and homeowners
• Build long-term customer relationships
• Resolve issues quickly and professionally

Store Operations

• Oversee daily store operations and workflow
• Support inventory management, merchandising, and stock control
• Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing departments

Sales & Performance

• Help drive sales growth and profitability
• Monitor KPIs, margins, and operational performance
• Execute promotions and merchandising strategies

Inventory & Merchandising

• Manage inventory accuracy and product flow
• Prevent stock shortages and minimize shrinkage
• Ensure strong product presentation throughout the store

Safety & Compliance

• Maintain a safe work environment
• Ensure compliance with company standards and procedures
