Job Title: Assistant Store Manager at EVERYTHING BUT WATER

Location: University Town Center

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in creating a customer-centric environment, prioritizing customer satisfaction while driving sales. In the absence of the Store Manager, this role manages daily store operations, staffing, and inventory. The position involves leading a team of Associates and delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Manage sales and expenses to optimize results
• Support staffing needs to ensure excellent customer service
• Coordinate shift coverage and scheduling
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training staff
• Maintain store standards for cleanliness, organization, and visual presentation
• Foster a collaborative and accountable team culture
• Align staff behaviors with sales goals
• Supervise and train staff in the Store Manager’s absence

Qualifications

• 3-5 years retail sales experience
• 1-2 years retail management experience
• Availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Strong customer engagement skills
• Basic merchandising and visual presentation skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Physical ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and lift at least 10 pounds
• Must be 18+ years old and fluent in English
• Ability to work single shifts occasionally
