Job summary

NAPA seeks an Assistant Store Manager to lead a dynamic team and support the store manager in a fast-paced automotive retail environment. You will drive sales, nurture customer relationships, and ensure excellent service across in-store and phone interactions.

You will coach crew members, manage operations for profitability, and uphold safety and inventory controls while maintaining a welcoming, customer-centric store culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in the automotive after-market service industry or willingness to learn all things automotive.
• Ability to lift 60 lbs.
• Knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systems.
• ASE Certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a successful team, support the store manager, and manage in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Manage store operations to maximize sales, profits and customer service.
• Build, coach, train and engage crew to deliver superior customer care and business results.
• Inventory protection, asset management, and safety compliance.
• Maintain overall cleanliness and readiness of store, delivery vehicles, sales floor, stock room and outside areas.
• Drive NAPA operating and marketing programs toward process improvements.
