The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for proficiency in all areas of a specialty retail farm and ranch store. They serve as the second in charge of operations to the Store Manager, delivering a Legendary Customer Experience, providing leadership and direction to the store team, and performing operational activities. The role also involves promoting a safe and productive work environment, and training Team Members on policies and procedures.
Availability, flexibility, adaptability, and service orientation are essential. Key responsibilities include:
Experience in retail leadership is required, with preferred knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding. Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license. Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's preferred. Ability to read, write, and count accurately is essential.
