About The Position

With over 430 stores worldwide, our Store Leadership Teams are key to our success. The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in operations, customer service, and team development, helping create memorable experiences aligned with our mission of “Connecting Active People with Their Passions.”

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate store staff including supervisors and associates.
• Support employee productivity and performance initiatives.
• Assist in hiring, training, and coaching staff.
• Provide daily coaching to meet performance standards.
• Manage inventory levels and store organization.
• Help develop and implement plans to improve sales, safety, and staff development.

Qualifications

• No specific education required; High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficient with POS and in-store systems.
• Strong judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

Work Conditions

• Active environment, including lifting up to 40 lbs., exposure to dust and noise.
• Ability to work in place and communicate clearly.
