Responsibilities

• Directs workflow and supports Store Manager in daily store operations.
• Models barista responsibilities and leads team when Store Manager is unavailable.
• Ensure consistent customer experience by following brand recipes and service standards.
• Maintain speed of service during high-volume periods by managing team workflow.
• Onboard and train new team members with a focus on teamwork.
• Develop relationships with staff and understand individual motivation factors.
• Identify opportunities to boost individual and team sales.
• Handle cash, POS operations, and standard operating procedures accurately.
• Ensure health, safety, and sanitation guidelines are followed.
• Serve as a keyholder handling opening/closing procedures.
• Demonstrate reliability and adaptability in administrative duties.

Assistant Store Manager

We are looking for leaders with outgoing, energetic, positive and friendly personalities. Those that exude positivity, enjoy interacting with other people, and have leadership skills. You bring the personality & leadership, we will teach you all about coffee, management and leadership!

The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for directing an efficient workflow and assisting the Store Manager in a variety of store operations duties. This position serves as a role model of barista responsibilities and serves as the team leader when the Store Manager is unavailable.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure consistent and quality customer experience by executing brand beverage recipes and techniques, resolving customer relations issues, and leading the team in delivering the Scooter's "Amazing" customer service experience
• Maintain speed of service standards during high-volume periods by staying calm, managing an efficient team workflow, anticipating customer needs, and utilizing downtime to prepare for the next rush
• Assist the Store Manager in onboarding and training new team members
• Develop effective working relationships with team members, identifying individual motivation factors
• Proactively seek opportunities to increase individual and team sales
• Understand and execute cash handling, point of sale system, and operational procedures in an accurate, consistent manner
• Ensure team members follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
• Serve as a keyholder, following all opening and closing procedures
• Demonstrate punctuality, dependability, and adaptability while assisting Store Manager with administrative duties as requested
