Role Description

The Assistant Store Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Orem, UT. This role supports the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including staffing, scheduling, and floor supervision to ensure a seamless client experience. The Assistant Store Manager helps drive sales, coaches team members on product knowledge and service standards, and maintains visual merchandising and store presentation. Responsibilities include monitoring inventory, supporting retail loss prevention procedures, and ensuring compliance with company policies and operational processes. This role also focuses on fostering a positive, inclusive work environment, resolving client issues, and championing Sephora’s values in every interaction.

Qualifications

• Strong customer-focused mindset, with skills in Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service.
• Effective Communication skills for coaching team members, partnering with leadership, and interacting with clients.
• Experience in Store Management, including supervising staff, managing operations, and driving sales performance.
• Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices and commitment to maintaining a safe, secure store environment.
• Previous experience in retail or beauty environments, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as business needs require.
• Proven ability to lead diverse teams, build trust, and promote an inclusive, respectful workplace.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, retail management, or related fields is a plus.
