Job summary

The Good Feet Store is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Newark, DE to lead a team, coach sales associates, and ensure excellent customer service. You will drive store performance, educate clients on arch support solutions, and foster a collaborative, positive work culture.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of sales leadership in a customer-facing setting, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage a fluctuating schedule.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience increasing sales by meeting or exceeding goals.
• 2+ years of experience in a supervisory role within a customer-facing business.
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and supportive team culture.
• Leads by example and participates actively with the team.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work a fluctuating schedule including weekends.

The Good Feet Store sells arch support solutions and products tailored to our clients’ individual needs. Our Assistant Store Managers play an Impactful role in educating clients on the benefits of proper arch support, and recommending suitable products, and developing and leading a team to do the same.

• Competitive compensation: Expected total compensation between $75,000 - $90,000 (includes annual base salary of $50,000 plus commission).

Requirements

What we are looking for in an Assistant Store Manager:

• Have 3+ years of experience increasing sales by meeting or exceeding goals.
• Have 2+ years of experience in a supervisory role within a customer-facing business.
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and supportive team culture.
• Leads by example and prefers to be off the sidelines and on the field with the team.
• Possesses great communication (verbal & written), presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build quick rapport and speak professionally with confidence (we can’t wait to see you in action!).
• Expert time management skills, sets realistic deadlines, and can follow specific steps to reach time-sensitive tasks/objectives.
• Ability to work a fluctuating schedule which will require days, evenings, weekends (Both Saturday and Sunday), and some holidays. Store Hours are Monday-Saturday, 9am-6pm Sundays are 10am-6pm.
