Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in leading retail and service teams, including hiring and coaching.
• Support drive of vehicle service sales and repairs to enhance efficiency and profitability.
• Monitor KPIs such as gross profit and service revenue; lead team toward targets.
• Train and mentor employees on service procedures and customer service standards.
• Create and maintain staff schedules for front-of-house and back-of-shop operations.
• Review performance data and implement strategies to achieve financial goals.
• Assist with inventory management including parts and tires.
• Support general housekeeping and facility upkeep, stocking and store support tasks.
• Promote technical training initiatives across all technician levels.
• Ensure operations comply with policies and safety standards.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence.
• Maintain flexibility for varied schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends.

We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in leading the daily operations of the automotive service center, ensuring all sales, service, and repair activities are performed efficiently, safely, and profitably. This roleassistswith coaching and developing store staff,maintainingappropriate staffinglevels, and promoting a culture of exceptional customer service. The Assistant Store Manager helpsmonitorsales performance,identifiesopportunities for improvement, and supports the implementation of strategies to achieve financial and operational goals. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a retail or service-based environment,high standardsfor customer satisfaction, and a strong work ethic with a hands-on approach to achieving results.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist the Store Manager in leading retail and service teams, including participation in hiring, performance management, coaching, corrective action, and compensation-related decisions.
• Support the direction of store staff in selling, servicing, and repairing vehicles to drive efficiency, quality, and profitability.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of store performance KPIs, including gross profit, tire sales, and service revenue, and help lead the team toward achieving targets.
• Train, coach, and mentor employees on proper repair and maintenance procedures, customer service standards, and operational best practices.
• Create andmaintainschedules for front-of-house and back-of-shop employees to ensureappropriate staffingduring all operating hours, including store opening and closing.
• Review sales and operational performance data,identifyopportunities for improvement, andassistin implementing strategies to achieve financial and operational goals.
• Support inventory management, including ordering, tracking, and accounting for equipment, replacement parts, and tires.
• Assistwith general housekeeping, facility upkeep, and hands-on operational tasks as needed, including stocking, organizing, and other store support activities.
• Recommend and support technical training initiatives to promote continuous skill development across all technician levels.
• Ensure all store operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Help foster a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence within the sales and service teams in partnership with the Store Manager.
• Maintain flexibility toworkvaried schedules, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, to meet business and customer needs.
