THE PURPOSE

The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for assisting in driving positive results, leading by example, and supporting and adhering to all company initiatives and expectations. The Assistant Store Manager oversees daily store operations, recruits, and develops employees to meet business needs. This role has full accountability for KPI performance, meeting goals, controlling financial results, shrink, talent selection, turnover, and store presentation in the absence of the Store Manager.

THE ROLE

Managerial Criteria

  1. Driver Results: Understands KPIs and how to produce positive results within store budgets. Works flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
  2. Effective Communication: Communicates priorities, expectations, and information clearly and promptly. Listens actively, fosters an open environment, and is proficient in Microsoft Office and internal applications.

Visual Merchandising

  1. Maintains brand visual standards and uploads photos for review.
  2. Manages inventory levels, shipping, and replenishment to maximize sales.
  3. Keeps store and stockroom clean and organized.

REQUIRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

Education and Experience

  1. 1-3 years’ experience as a retail supervisor or manager in a relevant environment.
  2. High School diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
