Base pay range

$70,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to support the daily operations of our store, uphold high standards of customer service, and contribute to team development and sales performance. This role is key to maintaining the customer experience and operational excellence expected from a premium brand like Bang & Olufsen.

About the Role

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will work closely with the Store Manager to ensure efficient daily operations, support team members, and deliver exceptional service to our customers. You’ll also be responsible for achieving personal sales targets and helping the team meet store-wide goals.

Job Purpose:

Support the Store Manager in the efficient daily operations of the store, ensuring high Company and Bang & Olufsen standards of customer service, team supervision, inventory control, and sales performance. Achieve personal sales and profitability targets

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing day-to-day store operations and staff supervision
  • Take charge in the absence of the Store Manager. Daily store opening/closing tasks
  • Achieve personal sales and service targets, KPIs, and profitability goals
  • Engage with local business partners – neighboring stores, Interior Designers, Integrators, Architects
  • Oversee customer sales orders and installation services until completion
  • Organize and host customer events regularly, these could be in the evening or on weekends
  • Deliver world-class product demonstration and customer service for high-net-worth clientele
  • Handle customer issues professionally
  • Ensuring compliance with the store playbook, visual merchandising standards, and service standards
  • Usage of customer CRM to build customer contacts and business partner relationships
  • Support visual merchandising and maintain store presentation standards
  • Assist in inventory control, stock management, and loss prevention
  • Train, coach, and motivate team members to achieve individual and team goals
  • Support the execution of marketing and promotional activities
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, sales and safety standards

Requirements:

  • Track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals in previous roles
  • Team leadership experience in managing a team in retail sales
  • Strong relationship building skills with local businesses
  • Has worked with and is passionate with technology, furniture or kitchen for luxury A-brands
  • Experience in implementation and compliance with playbook, customer service standards
  • Ability to manage your time, personnel and processes
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to resolve customer issues in a professional manner
  • Desire to develop your expertise and leadership skills
  • Experience with planning and hosting of events for customers is preferred
  • Expertise with customer CRM and Office 365 is preferred
