The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, including managing employees, ensuring excellent customer service, and maximizing sales. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to improve store performance and profitability while maintaining a positive environment for customers and staff. It is a development position aimed at those aspiring to become a Retail Store Manager.

Responsibilities
- Assist in recruiting, interviewing, selecting, and retaining store employees.
- Support in managing and developing store staff for optimal sales and operational performance.
- Help develop team selling skills and educate staff about products.
- Ensure smooth store operations, including inventory management, expense monitoring, promotional activities, and staff scheduling.
- Provide excellent customer service, handle inquiries and complaints, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Gain product knowledge and stay informed about current launches and promotions.
- Build relationships with customers to recommend products.
- Meet or exceed sales and operational goals.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager and team to meet operational and financial targets.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized store environment, enforcing policies and procedures.
- Provide feedback and suggestions to the Store Manager on staff, operations, and sales strategies.
- Manage daily store operations, including inventory, cash handling, staffing, and cleanliness.
- Spend most business hours on the sales floor engaging with customers and coaching staff.
- Work full-time, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications
- At least 21 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
