Position: Assistant Store Manager

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting the Store Manager in daily store operations, maintaining inventories, store appearance, and completing daily paperwork.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greets and assists customers positively. Resolves inquiries and concerns.
• Maintains a clean, well-stocked store.
• Supervises, trains, and develops Store Associates under Store Manager's guidance.
• Unloads merchandise, organizes, and transfers stock.
• Assists in ordering merchandise, record keeping, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Supports loss prevention efforts.
• Assumes management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; ability to interpret operational directives.
• Preferred store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug stores.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly, with occasional lifts up to 55 lbs. Must meet physical demands of walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Flexible, full-time schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Skills: Customer focus, developing potential, results-driven, organizational, communication, problem-solving, and relationship management.
