SmartStop® Self Storage in Commerce City, CO is hiring an Assistant Store Manager. This role supports leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.

Expect to handle rentals, banking, and daily store operations with a team-oriented approach. The position offers a daytime schedule Mon-Fri 9am–5pm, with a starting pay of $18–$20 per hour plus bonus opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rental agreements and process transactions.
• Assist with leasing and show units and parking spaces.
• Manage on-site operations and supervise maintenance tasks.

• Maintain knowledge of all products and services.
• Ensure property cleanliness and security.
• Coordinate with tenants and respond to inquiries.

Assistant Store Manager (Store #1091 - Commerce City, CO) Job Summary - NO NIGHTS!

The right candidate pays attention to details, stays organized, and delights in finding great solutions to problems. This position is involved in all phases of the operation, including leasing storage and parking, managing a team, assisting with maintenance, supervising on-site projects, and maintaining good relationships with tenants.

Hours of Operation: Mon - Fri 9am to 5:00pm; Sat 9:00am - 5:00pm; Sun 10:00am - 4:00pm

Starting at $18 - $20/hour + Bonus

What You'll Do:

• Prepare rental agreements
• Handle monetary transactions and banking activities
• Cleaning of vacated units and general cleaning of the property
• Promotes and sells self-storage solutions to potential customers
• Light maintenance
• Maintain a working knowledge of all products and services
• Must have reliable transportation, a valid Driver’s License, and current auto insurance
• The position requires a background check
• Other duties as assigned by the Company
