General Summary

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will provide exceptional customer service and assist the Store Manager in daily store operations, including maintaining inventories, store appearance, and completing daily paperwork.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers positively, resolving inquiries and concerns.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and provide excellent customer service.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates on operating practices.
• Assist in unloading merchandise, organizing stock, and transferring items from stockroom to store.
• Support in ordering merchandise, record keeping, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Support loss prevention efforts.
• Assume management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.

Position Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to interpret operational directives.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly and meet physical demands of the role.
