Position Overview: As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting the Store Manager in daily operations, maintaining inventories, store appearance, and completing daily paperwork.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers positively; resolve inquiries and concerns.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and provide excellent customer service.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates on operating practices.
• Assist in unloading merchandise, organizing stock, and transferring merchandise from stockroom to store.
• Support in ordering merchandise, record keeping, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Support loss prevention efforts.
• Act as Manager in absence of Store Manager.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to interpret operational directives.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly, with occasional lifts up to 55 lbs; capable of walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, and repetitive lifting.
• Flexible full-time schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Skills include customer focus, potential development, results orientation, organization, communication, problem-solving, and relationship management.
