IT’SUGAR is looking for a fun and dynamic Retail Assistant Store Manager to join our team. The Assistant Store Manager will oversee store operations to ensure sales goals and operational objectives are met.

What you’ll do?

1. Act as Manager on Duty: Oversee daily store operations, ensure sales objectives are met, evaluate ongoing operations, and recommend improvements.
2. Foster a positive work environment: Coach and train sales associates, demonstrate enthusiasm, and embody core values.
3. Follow customer engagement model: SUGARTAINMENT.
4. Promote safety: Adhere to safety guidelines for customers and staff.
5. Partner with store manager: Identify challenges and present solutions.
6. Recruitment: Network and recruit qualified candidates, assist in hiring, training, and coaching staff.
7. Achieve sales goals: Use selling skills, suggest additional products, and establish a collaborative selling culture.
8. Support store operations: Maintain cash handling records, review inventory, merchandise displays, and coordinate special events.
9. Understand Loss Prevention policies: Communicate LP issues and ensure policies are followed.
10. Maintain operational responsibilities: Store maintenance, cleanliness, and safety.
11. Represent core values: Positivity, Playfulness, Presence, and Making a Difference.

What you need to join the fun (besides SUGAR):

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 years of retail experience; prior management experience preferred
• Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to use POS systems, stand and walk for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs with assistance
