Job summary

Trek Bicycle's Alexandria North store is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager, drive daily operations, and model exceptional hospitality on the sales floor.

You will lead training for new and seasoned staff, participate in budgeting and financial reviews, and help Trek become the community's favorite bike shop while getting more people on bikes.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience to support daily store operations and train employees.
• Participate in weekly service meetings.
• Excel at the Trek sales process and be among the top two sellers in store.
• Handle hiring and onboarding new employees.
• Delegate daily task list assignments including Lead List communication.
• Maintain store merchandising per visual standards, product placement, pricing, and restocking.
• Use POS system to monitor sales and analyze trends.

Summary

The Assistant Store Manager works in partnership with the Store Manager to ensure the success of a Trek retail location. By focusing on the operational aspects of the business, they learn to act as an owner, gaining leadership and business acumen to take the next steps in their career at Trek. The Assistant Store Manager will take the lead on any training efforts for new and seasoned employees. They will ensure operational excellence from inventory to providing incredible hospitality out on the sales floor. The Assistant Store Manager will also participate in the budgeting and financial review processes to learn what it takes to run a healthy business. Through continuous feedback from their Store Manager, the Assistant Store Manager will learn what it takes to be the community’s favorite bike shop and get more people on bikes every day.

Compensation Range

Hourly Rate $22.00 - $25.00
