The Assistant Store Leader Of Operations supports the Store Leader by directing activities to achieve store goals, including guest service, sales, expenses, loss prevention, and merchandising. You will provide exceptional service, foster relationships, share product knowledge, and maintain a clean store environment. Operationally, you will focus on increasing sales, improving efficiencies, and developing talent.

People
  • Foster a guest-focused team environment and anticipate guest needs.
  • Model excellent guest service standards.
  • Provide timely feedback, recognize performance, and support employee retention.
  • Accountable for financial results and performance standards.
  • Manage conflicts and coach according to company guidelines.

Process

  • Create an exceptional shopping experience for guests.
  • Assist in managing floor sets and visual merchandising.
  • Oversee scheduling, back-of-house organization, shipments, and product prep.
  • Manage markdowns, supply orders, maintenance, inventory, and loss prevention.
  • Train new staff on operational procedures.
  • Assist in payroll management and financial performance analysis.
  • Make operational decisions and plan store activities.
  • Ensure workflow is efficient through planning and delegation.
  • Complete opening and closing procedures, adhering to loss prevention practices.
  • Communicate effectively with the leadership team.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
Presentation
  • Use weekly reports to analyze and communicate business results, strategizing to maximize sales.
  • Interpret corporate communications in partnership with leadership.
  • Collaborate with visual teams to implement floorsets, window displays, and maintain brand aesthetics.
  • Provide feedback on performance and visual presentation to leadership.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year retail management experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks such as standing, reaching, kneeling, and lifting up to 30 pounds.
