Devon Self Storage is hiring for a Full-Time Assistant General Manager in Fraser, MI. You will open/close the store, help customers select storage units, process payments and balance receipts to provide a high-touch customer experience.

The role emphasizes growth, internal promotion, and a schedule that avoids late retail nights. Requirements include a high school diploma, ability to lift 30+ lbs, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to lift 30+ lbs.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work independently when needed and follow through on assignments.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance with access to reliable transportation used during the workday to travel to vendors and/or other worksites.
• Strong ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Basic to moderate knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel & Outlook.
• Ability to regularly perform indoors and outdoors with exposure to adverse environmental conditions, weather, noise extremes and chemical, debris and traffic hazards.

Responsibilities

• Open the store, close it, and secure it each business day.
• Meet and exceed sale goals through rentals, protection plans, and other merchandise.
• Ensure products are ordered, received, stocked, priced and displayed promptly.
• Assist General Manager with the online auction process.
