Job Title: Assistant Store Leader, Specialty
Primary Purpose:

The successful candidate will leverage their retail expertise to manage and develop the store team, drive sales, and uphold brand standards.

Client & Service Expert:
  • Develop clientele through coaching on proactive outreach and maintaining relationships.
  • Partner with SL to create initiatives that attract and retain customers.
  • Ensure associates utilize their client books effectively to increase sales.
  • Maintain clientele standards and thank you note programs.
  • Ensure all associates complete sales training programs.
Leadership & Talent Stewardship:
  • Assist SL in achieving financial goals and assume the SL role in their absence.
  • Lead by example in personal sales and coaching.
  • Educate team on sales goals and metrics, and coach accordingly.
  • Network within the community to fill open positions efficiently.
  • Regularly review and assess employee performance.
Building Brand Equity:
  • Communicate and uphold the brand aesthetic and philosophy.
  • Ensure brand and operational standards are met.
  • Implement visual merchandising directives and maintain store presentation.
  • Report on merchandise performance, stock, and customer feedback.
Operational Excellence:
  • Supervise store opening and closing procedures.
  • Assist with scheduling and payroll management.
  • Follow policies on loss prevention and manage POS transactions accurately.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years management experience in retail.
  • College degree preferred; luxury retail experience a plus.
  • Strong sales, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze reports and make quick decisions.
  • Proficiency in Windows software.
Physical Requirements:
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
