Job summary

Maverik in Jackson, WY, is seeking an Assistant Store Director to partner with the Store Director to lead daily operations, coach Team Members, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will support leadership in the absence of the Store Director, drive GET service standards, and develop a high-performing team while achieving store goals in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork are essential, with 2+ years of retail leadership and food

• 2+ years of retail leadership experience.
• 1+ year of food service leadership preferred.

Assistant Store Director

Starting pay: $27.50 - $33.00/hr. with both career and growth opportunities, plus eligibility for a bonus program!

Shift: This is a full-time opportunity.

As an Assistant Store Director, you'll partner with the Store Director to lead daily operations, develop Team Members, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You'll coach the team, drive results, and help keep the store running smoothly, stepping in to lead whenever the Store Director is away.

• Food Safety Certification: Must obtain and maintain the food safety certification required by the applicable state or local jurisdiction.

• Lead by Example: Support the Store Director in leading daily store and food service operations and lead the store in their absence.
• Champion GET: Champion Maverik's GET (Greet, Engage, and Thank) customer service expectations by modeling the behaviors, coaching Team Members on consistent execution, and holding the team accountable for a welcoming and engaging customer experience.
• Team Development: Supervise, coach, and develop Team Members and store leaders through ongoing feedback, performance coaching, and recognition.
• Operational Excellence: Support achievement of sales, profitability, labor, inventory, and operational goals while maintaining high standards for service, cleanliness, and merchandising.

Physical Requirements:

• This position involves frequent standing, walking, handling, and horizontal reaching. It also requires reaching above shoulder level and below the waist, as well as activities such as bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, and pushing. The role may involve lifting, carrying, or moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work safely with equipment that generates and maintains high temperatures, while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
