Job summary

Bond County State’s Attorney’s Office in Greenville, IL seeks an Assistant State’s Attorney. Submit resume and cover letter; review will continue until a hire is made.

Prior prosecution experience is advantageous but not required; the caseload will be diverse and provide opportunities to grow and advance knowledge and skill. Current starting salary will range from $80,000.00-$100,000.00 based on experience.

Qualifications

• Prior prosecution experience is advantageous but not required.
• Caseload will be diverse and provide opportunities to grow and advance knowledge and skill.
• The Assistant State’s Attorney must be authorized to practice law in the State of Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the prosecution of all actions, suits, indictments and prosecutions, civil and criminal, in the Circuit Court of the County, in which the People of the State or County may be concerned, as well as to assist in the carrying out of all other duties imposed by law on the State’s Attorney.
• Primary duties will include Juvenile cases (Abuse/Neglect, MRAI, Truancy, and Delinquency), traffic, DUI’s and FOIA duties.
