Job summary

Precision Turf LLC, based in Sugar Hill, Georgia, is seeking an Assistant Sports Turf Manager to maintain collegiate and high school athletic fields across the metro Atlanta area. Responsibilities include mowing, edging, aerification, overseeding, irrigation work, and chemical applications on both natural and synthetic surfaces.

The ideal candidate will have prior athletic field maintenance experience, a valid Georgia driver’s license, and a strong work ethic with the ability to learn quickly,

Qualifications

• Prior athletic field or golf course maintenance experience is preferred.
• Valid Georgia driver’s license is required.
• Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and attention to detail are essential.
• ability to adapt to weather, work long hours and some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Mowing and edging of natural and synthetic turf.
• Painting, aerification, topdressing, verticutting, overseeding.
• Irrigation operation and repair; fertilizer/chemical applications.
• Synthetic turf cleaning, testing, repair, and small-scale installations.
• Occasional travel may be required.

Jobs duties include, but aren’t limited to mowing, edging, painting, aerification, topdressing, verticutting, overseeding, irrigation operation/repair, fertilizer/chemical applications, synthetic turf cleaning, testing, repairing and smaller scale installations. Occasional travel may be required.

Requirements

Prior athletic field/golf course maintenance is preferred. Candidates must have valid Georgia driver’s license. Candidates must have a strong work ethic and desire to learn. Attention to detail, proven ability to problem solve and a sense of urgency is a must. The candidate must be able to adapt to various weather conditions, work long hours and some weekends.
