Qualifications

• 4+ years of supervisory experience in athletic field or golf course.
• Pesticide applicator's license preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and perform field maintenance operations.
• Plan and implement a preventive maintenance program for equipment.
• Setup and prepare fields for events.

Skills

Knowledge of grass management

Knowledge of athletic field irrigation systems

Field issue monitoring and resolution

Turf equipment operation and maintenance

Bilingual skills (preferred)

KeyResponsibilities :

• Oversee and perform field maintenance operations, includingmowing,trimming,edging,aerating,topdressing, andoverallturfmanagement to ensurehigh-quality sports fields.
• Planandimplementapreventivemaintenanceprogramfor all equipment related to field maintenance, ensuring machinery is operational and well-maintained.
• Perform routine maintenance on turf, such asmowing, edging,aerating, fertilizing, pesticide applications,topdressing,andensuringthe fieldsare in optimal playing condition.
• Setupandpreparefieldsfor events,includingmarkingand laying outfields to meet specific sport regulations upon request.
• Maintainaweeklyreportofalltheworkdoneinthefield and implement a monthly maintenance plan.

RequiredSkills :

• Extensiveknowledgeofgrassmanagement
• Knowledge of athletic field irrigation systems, programming,pumpstationmaintenanceandgeneral repair
• Monitor,reportandresolvefieldissuessuchasturfstress, disease,irrigationproblemsandpestmanagement issues
• Proficiently operate and have general maintenance knowledge ofturf equipment including,but not limitedto : tractors, sprayers, carts, fields mowers, common area mowers, zmowers andvarious small equipment.
