The Assistant Sports Information Director for Digital Media Creation at Albright College in Reading, PA, collaborates with the Sports Information Director (SID) to lead video production and social media content for NCAA Division III athletics. Responsibilities include engaging fans through digital media, creating graphics, producing videos, supporting social media calendars, and capturing event footage. The role also involves live statistics during athletic events, managing photo archives, and traveling for postseason tournaments. The position requires technical expertise, industry trend awareness, and collaboration with student workers and staff. Additional duties are assigned by the SID or athletics leadership.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Develop social media content supporting Albright Athletics and teams.
2. Create graphics for social media channels, including game day and milestone graphics.
3. Produce and publish videos such as highlights, features, and event previews.
4. Train and coordinate with student workers and staff for content creation.
5. Produce annual end-of-year athletics celebration content.
6. Attend home events to capture photos and videos for social media and the website.
7. Manage the Athletics Department’s photo image inventory and archives.
8. Maintain technical expertise and stay updated on industry trends.
9. Perform other duties as assigned by the SID or athletics leadership.
10. Travel with teams during postseason tournaments to create content.
11. Compile live statistics during sporting events.
