Job Summary:

The Assistant Site Supervisor plays a critical support role in field operations and helps ensure the smooth delivery of high-end residential construction projects. This individual will work closely under the Project Manager to maintain job-site organization, track daily progress, and assist in communication between trades, office staff, and clients. Strong communication skills, emotional intelligence, and a willingness to learn are key traits for success in this role. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who values teamwork, clear communication, and is hungry to grow in a fast paced, detail oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:Field Operations:

• Assist the Project Manager in daily coordination of job-site activities.
• Support monitoring of project schedule and milestone tracking.
• Help maintain action lists for subcontractors and material deliveries.
• Monitor quality of work and flag issues to the PM as needed.
• Ensure job-site cleanliness and safety protocols are followed consistently.
• Attend and contribute to daily job-site check-ins with trades.

Jobsite Management:

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job-site environment.
• Assist in implementing OSHA and company safety requirements.
• Set the tone for respectful, collaborative site behavior.
• Represent Tuck professionally to neighbors and visitors.

Documentation & Communication:

• Capture daily photos and log progress into Buildertrend (or other platforms).
• Help maintain as-built drawings and field notes.
• Assist with documentation of material deliveries and trade check-ins.
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with trade partners and internal team.

Scheduling & Compliance Support:

• Assist PM with coordinating trade schedules.
• Help ensure inspections and compliance tasks are completed on time.
• Maintain awareness of municipal job-site requirements.

Requirements:Experience & Education:

• Bachelors Degree in Construction Management or Project Management.
• 2+ years of residential construction experience (custom home experience preferred).
• Experience as a laborer, carpenter, or foreman a plus.
• Proficiency in reading basic blueprints and site plans.
• Strong desire to learn and grow into a supervisory role.

Physical & Safety Requirements:

• Ability to work safely outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and climb ladders.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Technical Skills:

• Familiarity with project management tools (Buildertrend, Procore, etc.)
• Comfortable with smartphone/tablet-based site documentation.
