Job summary

Express Wash Concepts LLC is hiring an Assistant Site Manager at our Irwin location to support the site manager in running daily operations and driving sales. You will engage customers, upsell monthly unlimited car wash packages, and ensure quality control across shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of leadership experience.
• At least 2 years of customer service experience, including de-escalation.
• Basic IT proficiency, including POS systems and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Strong verbal communication to engage with customers.
• Ability to close the site at least two nights per week and open as needed.
• Ability to coach, mentor and train staff.
• Present professional image according to appearance guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist the site manager to ensure the store operates smoothly and meets customer service needs.
• Lead sales efforts by presenting monthly unlimited car wash packages and upselling products.
• Maintain high-quality day-to-day on-site operations and supervise staff.
• Recruit, develop, and motivate teams to deliver the company's mission.
• Manage labor, scheduling, and basic P&L by monitoring chemicals and utilities.
• Ensure cash handling procedures, deposits, and daily reconciliations are followed.
• Monitor inventory and raise purchase orders as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
• Address customer escalations calmly and effectively.

Where Clean Cars Begin: Your Role As an Assistant Site Manager

You will assist the site manager to ensure the store is operating and exceeding customer service needs. You will also focus sales efforts by engaging potential customers and presenting monthly unlimited car wash packages and upselling products to existing customers! Your workday will also consist of, but not be limited to:

• Maintain high-quality day-to-day on-site store operations.
• Lead with integrity and foster a culture of respectful accountability.
• Strive to exceed sales goals and store growth.
• Assist with Recruiting, developing, and motivating teams to deliver the company’s mission.
• Successful management of labor and staff scheduling
• Effective P&L management through monitoring of chemicals, utilities, and other expenditures
• Maintain quality assurance through accurate Quality Control checks.
• Follow standard procedures for cash management to include daily reconciliations, audits, and deposits.
• Monitor inventory and supplies and assist with orders.
• Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
• Properly address all customer escalations in a calm and collected manner.
• Learn wash process and equipment to expand the knowledgebase.
• Further growth through educational/training opportunities
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

What You’ll Need to Shine

• Required to stand and move throughout the site for the entire shift.
