Job Description
Position Mission: Provides management assistance at a company-owned Integrated Business Solutions (IBS) location or locations. Develops quality personnel, sets high performance standards, and utilizes company training resources to recognize employee efforts and accomplishments. Responsible for inventory protection, asset management, and operational issues. Ensures cleanliness of the site, stockroom, and outside areas. Fosters positive relationships between customers and staff through meetings and open discussions.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Satisfaction
- Inventory Management/ROI
- Utilize available tools for tracking value-added items for customers
- Maintain and develop local non-NAPA vendor relationships
- Respond promptly to customer purchase and service inquiries
- Interpret and comply with all contract requirements, meeting customer expectations
- Collaborate with company and customer management to develop IBS strategies
- Manage TAMS buy-out PO process
- Use approved non-company line codes appropriately
- Source parts needs from approved IBS vendors
- Meet service level goals per customer agreements
- Minimize inventory shrinkage through proper processes
- Receive and stock merchandise timely and accurately
- Create a safe work environment, ensure hazmat training is completed
- Follow company and customer policies
- Barcode inventory and organize in bins
- Return excess inventory
- Assist with vendor negotiations on pricing, inventory, and service
- Follow IBS policies and complete all training
- Perform tasks assigned by the Site Manager
Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or equivalent; technical school or college degree a plus
- ASE certified within 12 months
- Ability to manage and delegate tasks to a team
- Strong communication skills
- Detail-oriented
- Leadership experience in automotive parts or related industry
- Knowledge of store services
- High character and integrity
- Leadership to foster high performance
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments calmly
- Maintain and protect physical assets
- Willingness to learn and analyze problems
- Proficient in POS systems, cataloging, Microsoft Office, internet research, and fleet management software
- Physical ability to perform job functions, including lifting up to 60 pounds and working in noisy, fumes-filled environments
