IRSG, a division of Pipp Mobile Storage Systems, an industry leader of Inventory Processing and Transport Solutions, is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to join their team in Itasca, IL.

Essential duties & responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and prepare pick and pack orders for shipment on a daily basis. Ensure correct items, quantities and on-time shipment.
  • Coordinate shipments from the Itasca facility by; preparing shipping documents, ensure proper packaging and carton counts, calculating freight class, determining proper routing and complying with IRSG and customer routing guides.
  • Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment by ensuring proper product placement, accurate identification and removing unnecessary equipment or supplies.
  • Provide freight quotes and plan for large rollouts as requested.
  • All material receipts and production “return to stock items” are to be put into their proper position within 24 hours
  • Oversee and participate in the efficient receiving of overseas containers by properly identifying products and quantities received, accurately labeling products and storing in designated bin locations.
  • Ensure bin locations are accurate for product placement, notify supervisor of discrepancies. Propose and implement location changes based on knowledge of space allocations.
  • Perform daily spot checks on picked jobs
  • Participate in cycle counts
  • Participate as a key focal in year-end physical inventory counts.
  • Develop an extensive knowledge of IRSG products, packaging procedures and warehouse layout in order to assume additional responsibilities in the future.
  • Additional projects and assignments as required
