Job summary

Wynn Resorts is seeking a supervisory-level role to oversee the cleanliness of all public areas at Wynn and Encore. The position focuses on floor leadership, coaching staff, and ensuring adherence to 5-star service standards across shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent English language skills required.

• Positive attitude during high-stress periods required.
• Minimum of three years large resort experience preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cleanliness of all public areas, monitor tasks and staff performance to ensure 5-star standards.
• Open and close clocks for staff and update daily sign-in sheets as needed.
• Adjust shift schedules, radios, keys and equipment log sheets as needed.
• Distribute keys, radios and equipment to staff.
• Assist in all daily pre-shifts and ensure projects and cleaning requests are completed.
• Provide performance reviews and monitor safety, policy and accountability.
• Coordinate with Managers on disciplinary actions and walk floors to ensure standards.
• Attend bi-weekly Shift Manager meetings and oversee Wynn and Encore properties.

Job description

This position is responsible for assisting in creating a smooth operating department by overseeing the cleanliness of all public areas.

• Spending up to 95% of their time on the floor overseeing the cleanliness of all areas of the property by monitoring job tasks and employee performance, ensuring compliance of all Hotel and Department Policies, Procedures and Service Standards, coaching, developing and motivating staff.
• Opening and closing times clocks for staff.
• Updating and posting daily sign in sheets as needed.
• Adjusting daily shift schedules, radio, key and equipment log sheets as needed.
• Handing out keys, radios and equipment.
• Assisting in all daily pre-shifts.
• Ensuring special projects and cleaning requests are completed and Shift Managers are notified of status.
• Conducting performance reviews as assigned by Shift Manager.
• Monitor all staff for safety, policy and performance accountability.
• Coordinating with Managers on all disciplinary actions.
• Consistently walking and checking all assigned areas of responsibility at both Wynn or Encore properties to ensure 5 Star cleaning standards are met and operations run smoothly.
• Ensuring proper placement and removal of sign stanchions.
• Attending bi-weekly Shift Manager meetings.
