Assistant Service Manager - The Woodlands, TX

Our Assistant Service Managers are an integral part of maintaining resident satisfaction and are responsible for daily maintenance operations and community upkeep. Residents will appreciate your friendly personality as you work to maintain their homes and ensure a beautiful living environment.

We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Service Manager for our property in The Woodlands, TX.

Responsibilities
  • Meet daily with the Service Manager to coordinate workflow for make readies, service repairs, and special projects.
  • Organize and file reports and paperwork daily.
  • Manage and complete make-ready checklists and maintenance documentation promptly.
  • Perform repairs and improvements to apartment homes prior to resident move-in, including: window blinds, sheetrock repairs, caulking, sealing, touch-up painting, lighting, etc.
  • Inspect the community daily, making necessary repairs and reporting to the Lead Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Notify the Community Manager immediately of any illegal conduct.
  • Assist in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities.
  • Support cost-control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.
  • Change locks and ensure gates are operational and compliant with codes.
  • Assist with preventative maintenance and special projects.
  • Handle service requests from the work order log.
  • Maintain a positive customer service attitude at all times.
  • Perform additional duties as needed to exceed expectations.
Requirements
  • Minimum 6 months of related experience and training.
  • HVAC Certification required; CAMT preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills; bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Experience with OneSite/Real Page and ALN systems preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications preferred.
  • Must pass criminal background check and drug test.
