Job summary

Willow Springs in San Antonio, TX is seeking an Assistant Service Manager to lead our maintenance team for the community. You will supervise daily operations, coordinate repairs, and ensure safety and quality across buildings and grounds.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in residential maintenance, strong leadership, HVAC/plumbing/electrical knowledge, and the ability to train staff. The role involves on-site oversight, budgeting, and ensuring codes and inspections are met.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
• HVAC troubleshooting and repair training; ability to replace and maintain systems.
• Universal EPA certification, electrical certification, and CPO certification.
• Minimum five years residential maintenance experience; supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect buildings and grounds daily to monitor upkeep and safety.
• Perform preventive maintenance and document work completed.
• Prioritize and assign service calls to staff or contractors.
• Maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and outdoor amenities.
• Oversee staff scheduling and conduct performance reviews.
