Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking an Assistant Service Manager for Just Tires in Colorado. You will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced auto service center, coordinating service appointments, supervising staff, and delivering outstanding guest service.

You will lead sales, manage workflow, and ensure quality workmanship while training team members and communicating promotions and warranties to guests. A strong customer focus and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of automotive service department experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales through guest interactions including tire and service recommendations.
• Build guest relationships and ensure satisfaction as liaison between technicians and guests.
• Effectively manage the service department as needed.
• Contribute to training and development of service department staff.
• Explain warranties, promotions, and advertisements to guests.
• Use provided tools to recommend products per manufacturing guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and safe work and guest area.
• Perform various manual tasks including lifting tires and wheels as needed.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $26.00/hr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on factors such-as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. General Description

As an Assistant Service Manager, you will gain hands‑on experience in one of Goodyear's Auto Service centers by making meaningful connections with guests while delivering outstanding service. You will also become familiar with managing the service department effectively by scheduling associates, service appointments and organizing work flow to deliver quality work on time to guest. Responsibilities Will Include, But Will Not Be Limited To

• Drive and reach sales goals through guest interactions including tire and service sales
• Build guest relationships and ensure guest satisfaction through being the liaison between technicians and guests
• Effectively manage the service department as needed
• Contribute to training and development of service department associates
• Articulate all warranties, promotions, and advertisements
• Utilize tools provided to make recommendations to guests based on manufacturing guidelines
• Maintain a clean and safe work and guest area
• Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, which may include light and heavy lifting, including consumer tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting.

Basic Qualifications

Minimum 1 Year Of Previous Automotive Service Department Experience

Valid driver's license

Must be at least 18 years of age

• No relocation is being offered for this position
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous management experience
• Previous automotive service sales experience
