General Description

As an Assistant Service Manager, you will gain hands-on experience in one of Goodyear's Auto Service centers by engaging with guests and delivering outstanding service. You will also learn how to manage the service department effectively by scheduling associates, organizing work flow, and ensuring timely, quality work. Responsibilities Will Include, But Will Not Be Limited To

• Drive sales goals through guest interactions, including tire and service sales
• Build guest relationships and ensure satisfaction by acting as the liaison between technicians and guests
• Manage the service department as needed
• Contribute to training and development of service department staff
• Explain warranties, promotions, and advertisements clearly
• Use provided tools to recommend services based on manufacturer guidelines
• Maintain a clean and safe work and guest area
• Perform manual tasks, including lifting tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of automotive service department experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be at least 18 years old
• No relocation offered
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous management experience
• Experience in automotive service sales
