The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. General Description:

As an Assistant Service Manager, you'll gain hands-on experience in one of Goodyear's Auto Service centers by engaging with guests and delivering outstanding service. You'll also learn to manage the service department by scheduling staff, coordinating service appointments, and organizing workflow to ensure quality work is completed on time. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Drive sales goals through guest interactions, including tire and service sales
  • Build guest relationships and ensure satisfaction by acting as a liaison between technicians and guests
  • Manage the service department effectively as needed
  • Contribute to training and developing service department staff
  • Explain warranties, promotions, and advertisements clearly
  • Use provided tools to recommend services based on manufacturer guidelines
  • Maintain a clean and safe work and guest area
  • Perform manual tasks, including lifting tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting for extended periods

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of experience in an automotive service department

Valid driver's license

Must be at least 18 years old

  • No relocation assistance is provided
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future
