Lauderdale BMW of Fort Lauderdale, part of the Holman Automotive Group, is seeking an Assistant Service Advisor to join our team at our Service Center.
As an Assistant Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service, especially during peak times and when their primary advisor is unavailable. This position requires availability on Saturdays to accommodate our customers' needs.
We offer competitive hourly wages ranging from $19 to $25 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary point of contact for customers when their assigned advisor is absent, ensuring seamless communication and service continuity.
Review the absent advisor's open repair orders to identify and follow up with all affected customers.
Assist in obtaining approval for extended warranties by contacting providers as needed.
Collaborate with experienced advisors to enhance your knowledge and skills, preparing for future growth within the service department.
Complete and maintain all required training to meet company standards for the advisor position.
Report to service management daily to establish priorities and align on objectives.
Provide support to advisors during lunch hours to ensure uninterrupted service.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Exceptional communication skills and a strong team-oriented attitude.
Ability to work Saturdays and adapt to a flexible schedule.
Previous experience in customer service or the automotive industry is preferred.
