Argosy Casino Hotel & Spa is currently looking for an Assistant Security Shift Manager to join the team. Your responsibilities include:

1. Assist the Security Manager in achieving departmental goals and direct all security activities during assigned shifts.
2. Monitor activities related to Gaming Commission regulations and company policies.
3. Handle compliance matters within the Security Department.
4. Supervise, train, and coordinate staff.
5. Review incident reports, ensure proper handling, and initiate investigations.
6. Develop and maintain internal and external reporting procedures.
7. Monitor the exclusion list and enforce policies accordingly.
8. Operate a motorized vehicle.
9. Oversee department expenses and keep the Security Manager informed of incidents involving guests and employees.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• A Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from an accredited college (preferred).
• Strong leadership, supervisory, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous security or law enforcement experience (preferably 3 years).
• Knowledge of casino rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Familiarity with communication and camera equipment.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and deal tactfully with the public.
• Strong analytical, oral, and written skills.
• Physical ability to perform job duties, including moving around work areas, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 25 lbs., and responding to conflicts.
