Assistant Security Operations Managers – Northern VA

JOB LOCATION: Northern Virginia
START DATE: Immediate and Rolling Hires
PAY: $110,000 – $130,000 / year (1) + Bonuses (2)

(1) Pay rate is determined by Candidate’s level of experience
(2) Performance bonuses to be discussed with Employer

Employer is a US private security firm seeking Assistant Security Operations Managers for full-time and part-time contract employment in Northern Virginia. This position is responsible for assisting the Global Director of Operations manage various ongoing private security operations around the world. This private security firm strictly manages security operations that deal with global private Executive Protection operations and private hostage rescue operations. Employer is seeking highly qualified candidates who are US citizens and already reside in the Northern Virginia / DMV region – relocation assistance will not be provided.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

– Assist the Global Director of Operations in managing executive protection operations in assigned region(s)
– Interface with high net worth clients; occasional domestic and international travel (up to 40%) may be required
– Work regularly with internal intelligence assets in creating operational intelligence reports for ground operational team
– Brief senior and executive management on the status of operations
–Prepare technical operation plans based on the expert interpretation of analyzed threat analysis data
– Direct, plan, and carry out sensitive and complex operations and projects
– Manage contractors assigned to various executive protection details
– Liaise with local national military and law enforcement when applicable
– Coordinate movement of client and protection details to include coordination with FBOs
– Work with corporate legal team in drafting client contracts
– Perform ad hoc duties as needed by the Global Director of Operations

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (do not apply if you do not meet ALL of the following):

– MUST have prior international Executive Protection experience as a solo practitioner
– Possess prior professional experience with corporate executives and/or high-net worth clients– Must currently reside in the DC/MD/VA area – Northern Virginia area is preferred
– Must possess a current US Passport and Driver’s License
– Have experience in a leadership role (i.e. detail lead) and relevant project management work experience with a demonstrated record to lead and execute security compliance and risk mitigation programs
– Ability to interact with and influence senior management
– Must possess excellent written and verbal communicationskills
– Must have a strong, proven track record of responding quickly and effectivelyto a situation
– Possess a strong ability to form relationships with both internal and external key stakeholders

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

– Candidates with prior backgrounds in a SOF MOS/NEC are highly desired
– Prior experience working with FBOs
– Have prior experience conducting or coordinating hostage rescue operations and other high-threat operations within a small team and without the support of the US Government
