The University of Miami seeks an Assistant Scientist in the SOM to advance a focused research agenda that aligns with the university’s goals. The role emphasizes publishing findings and promoting the university’s leadership in its field, while collaborating with senior staff and supporting ongoing grant activities.

The incumbent will design and perform experiments, analyze results, prepare reports, and ensure data accessibility for project teams.

Qualifications

• PhD in Philosophy or related field required.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant research experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to publish and present findings.

Education: Doctorate degree - Philosophy (PhD) required
