Eurofins Agroscience Services Easton, MD is seeking an Assistant Scientist to join the Ecotoxicology team at a large, well-equipped facility. You will assist in toxicology studies, manage test systems, and monitor animal health while collecting and analyzing biological data in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, or related field.
• Familiarity or experience in a laboratory setting preferred.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist/run toxicology studies, including preparing test solutions and daily maintenance of test systems.
• Feed, water, and examine animals for signs of illness, disease, or injury.
• Handle live animals comfortably and collect/analyze biological data.
• Perform first-level data analysis and peer review for accuracy.
• Guide technicians on study conduct and help prepare data and reports.
• Follow applicable regulatory requirements (DEA, EPA, FDA, FIFRA, OECD, SOPs).
