Job summary

Kid Works in Cincinnati is seeking an Assistant School Age Teacher to work side by side with teachers and families, delivering care in line with NAEYC guidelines. You will support instruction, supervise children aged 6 weeks through 12 years, decorate classrooms, and foster a warm, safe, and engaging learning space, while communicating effectively with parents.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks – 12 years.
• Assisting teachers with instruction in the classroom.
• Decorating inside and outside of classrooms as needed.
• Maintaining a warm and safe environment that is clean and permits children to grow and explore.
• Interacting with children to encourage their involvement in activities.

What will you be doing?

As a Teacher Assistant, you will work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care, according to NAEYC guidelines.
