Piggly Wiggly Monroe is operated by PW Retail Foods LLC. This part-time Scan/Pricing Associate role focuses on accurate pricing and compelling signage to enhance the shopping experience. You will oversee daily department operations and guide the pricing team across the store.

The position requires a High School Diploma and preferably retail pricing or signage experience. Shifts vary, with morning to evening options, and a supportive team environment in Monroe, WI.

Description

• Provide friendly and attentive customer service as you oversee the day to day operations of the department and supervise the department team


• Create excitement for our shoppers by creating signage for sale items, displays, and endcaps.


• Communicate clear and correct pricing to our customers throughout every store department by ensuring consistent and accurate product tagging and handling price change files each week


• Handle selection, training, development, and scheduling of scan/pricing associates.

Skills

• Specialized Knowledge : Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.


• Special Skills : Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions for equipment, and procedure manuals; Ability to write routine reports; Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions; Possess basic computer skills; Regular vision


• Physical abilities: : Constant amounts of standing & walking; Frequent amounts of lifting, carrying, 50 lb, pushing, and pulling loads up to 100 lb, handling, talking, and hearing


• Other: : Excellent communication skills, basic computer skills and the ability to learn, differentiate, and retain information regarding product lines/locations and operate the cash register/point of sale system, printer, and pricing gun
