Job summary

Sun Tan City is seeking an Assistant Salon Director to maintain a high-energy, positive environment and drive exceptional client service. You will supervise Tanning Consultants, help meet productivity goals, and model leadership in all operations.

The role requires managing five days per week with a flexible 40–45 hour schedule, including nights and weekends as needed for coverage. On-the-job training and opportunities for advancement are provided.

Qualifications

• College education preferred, but not required.
• Management and/or Sales experience required.
• Basic Computer skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple situations simultaneously.
• Knowledge of client service techniques and operational practices.
• Problem-solving and organizational/planning skills.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to coach and mentor while having knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures.
• Team building skills.
• Ability to prioritize and delegate.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily operations of the salon in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead by example in all company operations including creating a client-centric experience and meeting personal sales expectations.
• Maintain a professional and impeccably clean salon environment.
• Establish clear goals and objectives for Team Members.
• Provide coaching, training, and feedback to improve Team Members’ daily performance.
• Generate sales reports, maintain inventory, and assist with other Salon Director functions.
• Assist the Salon Director in controlling top line revenue and expenses.
• Help to maintain proper staffing levels to ensure maximum productivity and excellent customer service while also controlling labor costs.
• Ability to work nights as well as Saturdays and Sundays as required to provide management coverage.
• Has reliable ability and transportation to go to the bank as needed.
• Candidate should expect to work five days per week, and approximately a 40-to-45-hour work schedule depending on hourly or salary status.

Job Summary

• This position is responsible for maintaining a high-energy, positive environment, where behaviors that support client-centric service are consistently demonstrated. The Assistant Salon Director helps drive store performance, fosters superior client service, and maintains operational excellence to meet or exceed established productivity goals. • Ability to bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment.

• Ability to perform salon cleaning functions including dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, etc.
