What You’ll Be Doing:

Customer Service Champion
You’ll be the friendly face welcoming every pet parent and their furry friends . Using our “WE CARE” approach, you’ll make each interaction special—helping customers find the perfect product, handling purchases and exchanges, or assisting with store credits and gift cards.

You’ll ensure every transaction is smooth and accurate by applying monthly promotions and recommending our Healthy Rewards and Round Up options to elevate their shopping experience .

Pet Guru & Sales Guide
Get to know our regulars by name (including their pets!) . Help them navigate the store, suggest awesome add-ons, and share your pet nutrition, grooming, training, and seasonal services expertise. As a retail expert, you’ll engage with customers to discover their pets’ unique needs and recommend products and services that make their lives easier—and their pets happier!

Team Leader Extraordinaire
In this lead role, you’ll guide, train, and support the retail staff , setting the tone for an upbeat and cohesive environment. From assigning breaks to coaching on best practices, you’ll ensure that everyone’s responsibilities are clear and that our team delivers the exceptional service our customers expect .

Inventory Pro & Store Opener/Closer ️
Partnering with our Retail Team Lead, you’ll keep our store stocked, handle inventory needs, and minimize shrinkage . You’ll also help open and close the store, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment every day . And don’t forget the task board! You’ll complete daily assignments that keep our store running smoothly .

What We’re Looking For:

• Education & Experience : An associate’s degree is preferred, plus at least a year of retail experience (specialty retail is a big plus!).
• Skills : Friendly, flexible, and customer-focused with a flair for cash handling, computations, and teamwork.
• Communication ️: Strong verbal and written skills, with the ability to engage with people from all backgrounds.
• Supervision Skills : Can guide a team, organize breaks, and handle minor supervisory tasks.
• Multitasker : Juggling tasks, meeting deadlines, and prioritizing under changing demands are all part of the role.

Physical Requirements:

This is an active role! You’ll be on your feet for most of the day, lifting up to 30 pounds and moving around the store to engage with customers and staff ️.
