Job Summary

The Assistant Salon Director maintains a high-energy, positive environment, drives store performance, fosters superior client service, and maintains operational excellence. They manage and supervise Tanning Consultants, lead by example, and ensure an exceptional client experience.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily salon operations in a fast-paced setting.
  • Lead by example, creating a client-centric experience and meeting sales goals.
  • Maintain a professional, clean salon environment.
  • Set clear goals for team members and provide coaching and training.
  • Generate sales reports, manage inventory, and assist with other director functions.
  • Support revenue and expense control efforts.
  • Ensure proper staffing levels for productivity and service quality.
  • Work nights, weekends, and holidays as required; reliable transportation is necessary.
  • Work approximately 40-45 hours per week.
Qualifications
  • College degree preferred but not required.
  • Management or sales experience preferred but not mandatory.
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to manage multiple situations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
  • Organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform cleaning tasks for extended periods.
