Job summary

Jimmy John's Sandwiches is seeking an Assistant Manager to support daily restaurant operations and assist the General Manager and owners. You will train and work alongside your team while helping manage food and labor costs, ensuring high standards and a positive, goal-driven environment.

Preference is given to those with management experience in the food industry, but candidates without prior Jimmy John’s management experience can still apply.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work 40–50 hours per week.
• Day shifts and night shifts are required.
• Must have open availability.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to train and supervise Assistant Manager, PIC, InShopper and Delivery Driver roles as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee in-store operations with the General Manager.
• Lead by example and ensure adherence to systems and procedures.
• Coach and manage employees to maintain store standards and efficiencies.
• Assist the GM and owners in daily restaurant operations and cost management.
