Hershey Lodge in Hershey, PA is seeking a Full-Time Food & Beverage Supervisor to assist in supervising and administering F&B activities across outlets. The role includes guest service oversight, training, cost control, and maintaining safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years related experience.
• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience.
• Prior food and beverage supervisory experience is required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Completion of high school or GED.
• Post-Employment certifications preferred; may need to obtain certifications as a condition of employment.

This position is responsible for assisting in the supervision and the administration of the food and beverage activities at outlets as assigned at the Hershey Lodge.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):

• Monitor and support guest service and hospitality standards proactively. Ensure the correct service techniques are consistently demonstrated by all staff.*

• Control reservations and seating of the restaurant to ensure service standards are maintained (where applicable), as well as the use of the reservation system.*

• Coordinate food and beverage training, including regular reviews and updates of standards. Train, coach, motivate, and support staff. Cross train and support other F&B outlets as needed.*

• Control wage and supply costs within budget. Ensure proper cash control procedures are followed daily.*

• Complete inventories as needed or scheduled. Order and maintain par levels of product inventory.*

• Ensure the work and service areas are clean and organized. Maintain all safety, health, and sanitation standards.*

• Report and follow up on maintenance needs using the work order system. Coordinate with support departments as needed.*

• Understand all F&B items offered (including ingredients, allergens, methods of preparation, and proper service).*

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Completion of high school or GED

• Post-Employment - Current ServSafe Allergen, ServSafe Manager, and RAMP Certifications preferred; must obtain certifications as a condition of continued employment in this position. Effective application of the training is required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Fluency in restaurant beverage management, product knowledge, and bar operations is essential.

• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.

• Knowledge and experience in POS system(s).

• Demonstrated ability to interface and interact professionally with managers, employees, and guests.

• Knowledge and use of service, labor, and cost controls in F&B a plus.

• Demonstrated leadership, team-building, motivating, and organizational skills.
